Brett Walker - Our Minister

A Hawke's Bay local, with a Bachelor of Theology from the Bible College of NZ and a Masters of Theology (New Testament) from Otago. He also has degrees in Computer Science & Economics from Massey. Brett is married to Sue and they have two boys, Paul and David.

Brett has been at St Columba's since 1999, previously he was the Minister at Flagstaff Union Parish in Dunedin. 

He has special interests in outreach programmes, the Chaplaincy at EIT and the Interdenominational Ministers' Association. He is also a keen
follower of NZ sports.

Anna Neil - Our Secretary / Kids Friendly Care Co-ordinator

Anna has over 25 years administration experience in many different industries.  Anna enjoys running, cycling, evening walks with her husband, Bryce and spending time with their family and friends.

Anna is always ready to help and will direct you to the right person if she is not able to handle the issue herself.

Anna is also our Kids Friendly Care Co-ordinator which involves running the Before and After School Programme and the Holiday Programmes.  She enjoys the time she spends with the children and endeavours to provide a safe and happy environment for them. 

Steve Demetrius - Our Youth Worker

Steve is originally from California and has worked full-time in Youth Ministry since 1982.  He is married to a Kiwi, with three children and has lived in Napier since 2005.  He has a Bachelors degree from the University of California at Berkeley and a Masters of Divinity degree from Western Theological Seminary.  

Steve is also the Chaplain at Taradale Intermediate, Taradale High School and EIT.
